Yesterday, Boden went to the pediatrician for a vaccine and to get his nether regions examined--he had a little redness on his urethra which was a little concerning. Our pediatrician wasn't available so we met a new guy, Dr. L, who called Boden "sir" and referred to his nether regions as "the area down below". Boden chatted away with Dr. L while he was poking his belly, checking his ears and eyes and was basically adorable. When Dr. L got to the area down below, he said it was nothing major, a little inflammation from irritation caused by his diaper. While he was showing me what to look for in case it progressed, he flicked something with his finger (no, not Boden's manhood) and said "is that animal hair?". Of course, I cringed and laughed nervously (awaiting child services to bum rush the door) and said something like "That dog hair gets everywhere no matter how hard you clean, heh, heh...". Fun--maybe he wrote that in his chart.
Boden was 12 lbs 5 oz at this appointment--up 15 oz from his 2 month check-up. They didn't measure his height, but I think he's a wee bit taller, too.
