Earlier this week, Boden had his second play date. We went to see my friend, Michelle, and her son, Elliott. Elliott is almost 1 year old and is light years ahead of Boden in terms of all areas of development--not that I want to wish this early time away with Boden but it's easy to get excited about seeing him crawl and play and be more interactive...I'm sure it will all happen fast enough.
I was telling Michelle (my friend, not myself) about the little bit of cradle cap Boden had near his hairline on the top of his head. The day before, during bath time (no screaming involved, by the way--by me, Todd, or Boden), Todd tried to scrub away the loose bubbly, dry skin and it looked awful. I think he was just short of grabbing a toothbrush to start scrubbing more off when I intervened. Michelle said Elliott had cradle cap and his was much worse than what Boden had--I think she mentioned the word "oozing". So, I told Todd it could get much worse and it was just a mild case and doesn't look like it's progressing, yet, so leave it alone--and keep the toothbrush away from his scalp for now.
I forgot my camera otherwise I'd have a photo of Elliott and Boden together...boo. Next time.
