More!

Oh, glorious day!! Finally, after what feels like a hundred years of encouraging and demonstrating the signs for "more", "milk", "banana", and a few others, Boden signed "more" appropriately-- as in it was actually part of our conversation. Here's how it went down: I said "do you want more toast?", using the sign for "more". Boden said "yeah." and then signed "more" and pointed to the toast...I will admit that it was a modified "more" that was a cross between "more" and "again", but good golly, he actually understood that the sign could be used to communicate his needs so I'm jazzed. Of course, pointing also communicates his needs but this seems more sophisticated...and I'm not going to brag about pointing. It's the little things that tickle my mom-fancy.
