As luck would have it...

Boden has been sick since last Friday (fever, cough, runny nose, lots of whining, totally crabby).  Since he couldn't go to daycare, Todd and I were "lucky" enough to stay home with him Tuesday and Wednesday.  Hmph.  I used to think that people with sick kids were at home baking cookies, servin' up chicken noodle soup, watching cartoon movies, and readjusting pillows and blankies...maybe that's how the scenario looks when your kid is 10, but, when your kid is 51 weeks old, that is not what happens.  I think babysitting an angry bear cub confined in the TV room would have been a more pleasant (and perhaps, rewarding) experience.  Boden gave a lot of feedback that whatever I was doing wasn't right.  Luckily (and this is the appropriate use of the word), Grandma and Grandpa Brown are home with Crabbypants today and I got to work!
