Santa, Baby...

Boden enjoyed his first Christmas and was a good little guy while we had Todd's side of the family over to celebrate the holiday. Grandma Brown talked his little ears off and kept him smiling and laughing with lots of stories. He must have been worn out from all the entertaining he did, because Boden slept most of Friday...literally. I don't think we saw his eyeballs. When he "woke up" to eat, he was still in a state of semi-sleep.

Boden donned his Santa hat for a brief photo opp after which it promptly popped off his on-going growing head. I think he outgrew it shortly after we put it on him.

One of his favorite gifts, thus far, is this projector thing that plays lullabies and white noise sounds like a heartbeat, rain and my favorite, the ocean, in addition to projecting a moving "mobile" of fish or stars or tropical animals. Since he can't see the ceiling, yet, we have it projected on the side of his crib. Todd has fashioned a projector screen out of one of his blankets wedged between the crib and the wall. Boden stares at the images, tracks them with his eyes as they go from one side of the screen to the other and he sometimes smiles and kicks wildly with happiness (I think) while he watches. We're crossing our fingers that this will be an on-going favorite of his for months to come and not a passing phase like that stinkin' pacifier.
